The Hoya Ndx4 ND filter is a neutral-density filter that reduces the amount of light reaching the camera without affecting color balance. It allows you to use slower shutter speeds to capture motion, as well as wider apertures to reduce depth of field and make the subject stand out.
It can also reduce the effective ISO sensitivity of high-speed film in bright outdoor conditions and be used with cameras that have a fixed shutter speed to film bright scenes, such as snow and sand.
