Electrofusion Irrigation Fitting ELBOW PE UNIDELTA – 25MM is used for connecting polyethylene pipes for the transportation of gas at a pressure of 10 bar or for drinking water and liquids at a nominal pressure of 16 bar. It is compatible with PE80 and PE100 pipes. Due to the quality of the raw material used, Unidelta fittings are resistant to many chemical agents and UV radiation.

USES: The main applications of electro-fusion fittings include:

  • gas piping
  • water supply systems
  • fire protection installations
  • drainage systems
  • industrial installations
  • irrigation
  • wiring

Unidelta electro-fusion fittings can be used with high-density polyethylene pipes PE80 or PE100 with the following characteristic specifications: SDR≤ for all diameters, SDR=17 for diameters >32mm, SDR=26 for diameters >125mm.

MAIN FEATURES:

  • welding voltage 40V
  • electrical connections Ø 4.0mm

Each item carries:

  • a bar code for reading with an optical reader
  • nominal diameter
  • welding and cooling time

A metal coil is placed near the inner surface of the fitting to optimize heat transfer between the pipe and the fitting, reducing the welding time. Polyethylene pipes and fittings can be welded using the electro-fusion method or the butt welding method. In any case, the welding process must follow a defined procedure, taking into account key concepts related to the compatibility of different materials.
