Description & Specifications

PPG Sigmafast 20 primer is a high-build anti-corrosive coating based on modified alkyd resin and zinc phosphate pigment. It is intended for steel surfaces with inadequate surface preparation, including rusty surfaces, as well as for protecting welded joints. It can be applied by brush, roller, airless spray or conventional spray.

It is touch-dry in 15 minutes. At 20 °C, a second coat can be applied after 45 minutes. For full protection, a total film thickness of at least 150 μm is required, applied in 2–3 coats.
