History and origin: Malotira is a wild Mediterranean plant, widely known in Crete and the mountains of Greece. Its name comes from the ancient word "sideros," as it was believed to have properties against wounds caused by iron weapons. Traditionally used to prepare infusions, it is considered a symbol of health and longevity.
Properties:
- Rich in iron, contributes to the improvement of hematopoietic function.
- Antioxidant properties that help protect against oxidative stress.
- Antimicrobial action, effective against bacteria causing respiratory infections.
