The Beaucarnea, also known as Nolina, is an indoor plant with a swollen thick brown stem at its base that stores water. The long narrow curly green leaves flow from this base like a fountain of water. It originates from the dry regions of Mexico. The ability to retain water in the bulbous trunk is an adaptation from such a dry place. This very slow-growing Beaucarnea is ideal for home and office.
