The Anubias variety is best used at the back of aquariums. It is very distinctive with its long stems and unique leaf shape. The older leaves form arrow-shaped leaves, which are not visible when the plant is still small. Given time, mature plants can reach up to 1 m in a very large and open aquarium. It is easy to care for, although leaves that are too large can be removed. Cut the stem just next to the rhizome.
