The SUPERMAL® colorless coating is suitable for decorative and protective painting of wood, wood materials, plasters, as well as steel and iron elements used indoors and outdoors, such as doors, windows, furniture, etc. It is recommended for painting toys and playground equipment.
* The product meets the flammability requirements according to paragraphs 4.1, 4.4, and 5.4 of the toy safety standard PN-EN 71-2+A1:2014-06 and the requirements of part 3 Migration of certain elements of the standard PN-EN 71-3+A1:2014-12.
Product usage instructions
Substrate preparation
The surface to be painted should be dry, clean, dust-free, and degreased. Wooden substrates contaminated with resin or other oily areas should be cleaned with extraction gasoline. It is recommended that new wooden substrates be prepared with Śnieżka Wood Base, and for better protection against external factors, be treated with VIDARON clear wood impregnation agent before applying the base. Metal parts should be prepared with the fast-drying anti-corrosion paint Śnieżka Urekor S. Fresh cement substrates or plasters should be prepared with the appropriate ACRYL-PUTZ® base. Old paint coatings that adhere poorly to the substrate should be removed; if firmly adhered, they should be sanded to weaken the surface with sandpaper and cleaned of dust.
Product preparation before use
Stir the colorless coating well. Use it in its commercial viscous form or dilute with water to the working viscosity; excessive dilution reduces coating quality.
Painting
Paint at substrate and ambient temperatures above +10°C and air humidity below 80%, using a flat soft-bristle brush, foam (flock) roller, or spray. Apply subsequent coats after about 4 hours (low temperature and high humidity prolong drying time). Complete curing of the coating at room conditions is achieved after 24 hours. Clean painting tools with water after finishing.
