Urekor S Anti-Corrosion Primer - Basic protection against corrosion for steel and cast iron elements. Protects against corrosion, dries quickly, and adheres excellently to substrates.

The Urekor S anti-corrosion primer is a suspension of pigments and fillers in a phthalic resin solution in a mixture of organic solvents with the addition of facilitators and auxiliary agents. It rapidly creates drying, matte, flexible coatings that adhere perfectly to the substrate, with hardness suitable for the intended use. Its use is recommended as a base layer under the following coatings: phthalic, modified phthalic, and nitrocellulose paints or varnishes.

• Surface preparation: surfaces intended for painting should be cleaned to degree 20 according to PN-70/H-97050; new surfaces should be cleaned from rust and other contaminants; for surfaces undergoing renovation, remove loose layers of old paint, rust, and other impurities; clean surfaces should be degreased with extraction gasoline.
• Product preparation: stir the paint well; if necessary, dilute the factory viscosity with a solvent suitable for phthalic, urea-based, general-purpose, chlorinated rubber, or polyvinyl products.
• Painting: apply with a brush or sprayer; it is recommended to apply 1-2 layers depending on the aggressiveness of the corrosive environment; apply the next layer after 4-6 hours; apply coatings after 24 hours of drying or according to the recommendations for the topcoat, except for nitrocellulose and chlorinated rubber varnishes, which should be applied at least 72 hours after the primer layer has dried.
