The Heiniger No. 50 blade cuts the coat to a length of 0.2 mm and has teeth designed for smooth movement to help prevent accidental cuts to the animal. It is interchangeable and compatible with Heiniger Saphir clippers, as well as Andis, Moser, Wahl and Oster clippers that feature a Snap-On system.
To maintain the blade, clean between the teeth with a cloth or soft brush, and dry thoroughly after using disinfectant. Oil it before each use and every 5–10 minutes while clipping. After oiling, let it sit for a few seconds to allow the oil to spread before it comes into contact with the coat.
