A story from DC’s new universe called the Absolute Universe. Essentially, the stories of the main characters and the roles of the other characters we’ve come to know so far are radically changed. A very interesting approach and a nice starting point for new readers, without needing any prior contact with older stories, names, etc., although the classic origin stories remain must-read. However, for someone who has read or knows the background, etc., the changes in the Absolute Universe will seem much more pronounced.
Here we find a Superman who grew up on Krypton and remembers its destruction and the annihilation of his people, while now he is trying to find his place on Earth among humans. Like all the stories in the Absolute Universe, this one also shows a darker version of the Man of Steel.

Ιστορία από καινούργιο σύμπαν της DC με όνομα Absolute Universe. Στην ουσία αλλάζουν ριζικά οι ιστορίες των πρωταγωνιστών και οι ρόλοι των υπόλοιπων χαρακτήρων που έχουμε μάθει μέχρι τώρα. Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα προσσέγιση και ωραίο staring point για νέους αναγνώστες, χωρίς να χρειάζεται να έχεις καμία πρότερη επαφή με παλαιότερες ιστορίες, ονόματα κλπ. αν και οι κλασικές Origin ιστορίες παραμένουν must read. Ωστόσο, για κάποιον που έχει διαβάσει ή γνωρίζει background κλπ θα του φανούν οι αλλαγές του Absolute Universe πολύ πιο έντονα.
Εδώ βρίσκουμε έναν Superman ο οποίος μεγάλωσε στον Krypton και θυμάται την καταστροφή του και τον αφανισμό του λαού του, ενώ πλέον ψάχνει να βρει την θέση του στην Γη ανάμεσα στους ανθρώπους. Όπως όλες οι ιστορίες του Absolute Universe, έτσι και αυτή δείχνει μια πιο σκοτεινή εκδοχή του Ανθρώπου από Ατσάλι.
