The FLEX GE 6 X-EC wall sander features a brushless motor and a sanding head with an eccentric drive mechanism and a 160° range of movement. The carbon-fibre guide tube and frame help keep the weight low, while the gimbal-mounted head and planetary gear system support sanding with reduced vibration. The round head features a rotating edge section for working on joints between walls and between walls and ceilings.

The speed can be adjusted across six settings and remains constant during use. The head conforms to the sanding surface, while dust extraction works between the brush ring and the sanding pad and allows connection to a FLEX safety vacuum cleaner via the FLEX Clip system. The sander is suitable for sanding plasterboard and polystyrene insulation boards, as well as preparing surfaces before painting.
