Body & Neck Ergonomics

The guitar body is made of mahogany, offering warm tones and long-lasting sustain. The maple top adds brightness and clarity to the high frequencies, while the Flamed Maple veneer enhances the instrument’s aesthetics beneath its Charcoal Cherry Burst finish. The set maple neck, with its Wide Thin profile, provides a slim feel and allows for fast hand movement, while the rosewood fingerboard features 24 frets and the classic PRS Birds inlays.

PRS 85/15 “S” Pickups & Push/Pull Versatility

The PRS SE Custom 24 is equipped with a set of PRS 85/15 “S” humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. These pickups are designed to deliver excellent clarity in the low and high frequencies while keeping the midrange clear. The push/pull tone control (coil tap) lets you split the humbuckers to achieve authentic single-coil tones for greater sonic versatility.

Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo System

The main technical feature of this model is its Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo system. Built to the same specifications and from the same high-strength materials as the original models, the double-locking tremolo, combined with the locking nut at the headstock, ensures exceptional tuning stability, allowing demanding techniques such as dive bombs and pitch bends without going out of tune.
