Rim repair and painting kit. The kit includes quality products from AVEX.ro for repairing, renewing, and painting rims. It is DIY type and can be used by anyone following the provided instructions.

• 2 x 400 ml Champion paint spray
• 1 x 500 ml Champion varnish spray
• 1 x special filler for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sandpapers with different grits for surface correction before and after applying the filler
• 1 x roll of masking tape for edging the tire edge

Application instructions:

• Carefully clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
• Soften the rim dents for their correction and create a rough surface so the filler will adhere.
• Clean again or blow off metal residues from sanding.
• Apply masking tape around the rim, on the tire, to protect it from paint fumes.
• Apply the filler to the rim dents with a spatula, stick, or fingers (use the gloves included in the kit) to fill the imperfections.
• After about 10 minutes, once the filler hardens, smooth the surface with fine sandpaper.
• If the filler did not cover all dents, repeat the process as many times as necessary until all holes are filled.
• After smoothing with the correction sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpapers to prepare the surface for painting.
• If you want to paint the entire rim and not just the dents, prepare the rim surface with fine sandpaper.
• Clean the rim surface from sanding residues.
• Shake the paint spray for about 2 minutes to homogenize and apply it to the rim with smooth, even strokes.
• After drying for about 10-20 minutes, apply the next coat of paint. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats for optimal coverage.
• Finally, after applying the paint coats and drying, apply the varnish coat in the same way as the paint coats.
• For high gloss, apply multiple varnish coats with dry application breaks between applications. The use of varnish is optional; in some cases, the painted surface has enough gloss even without applying the clear varnish.
