Complete rim repair and painting kit.

The kit includes high-quality products from AVEX.ro and is suitable for DIY (do it yourself). It can be used by anyone following the included instructions.

The kit contains:

• 4 x 400 ml Champion paint spray cans
• 1 x 500 ml Champion clear varnish spray
• 1 x special putty for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable wool gloves
• 1 x set of sandpapers with different grits for surface correction before and after applying the putty
• 1 x master tape roll for covering the tire edge

Warning! The rim shown in the image is for presentation purposes only and is not included in the package.

Application instructions:

1. Thoroughly clean the rims to remove any dust or grease.
2. Smooth the rim dents for correction and create a rough surface so the putty adheres properly.
3. Clean again or blow off to remove any metal residues.
4. Apply master tape around the rim on the tire to protect it from paint fumes.
5. Apply the putty to the rim dents using a spatula, wood piece, or fingers (use the provided gloves) to fill the dents or cracks.
6. After approximately 10 minutes, once the putty hardens, sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
7. If the putty does not cover all dents, repeat the process until all gaps are filled.
8. After sanding with the correction sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpapers to prepare the surface for painting.
9. If you want to paint the entire rim and not just the dents, prepare the entire rim surface with fine sandpaper.
10. Clean the rim surface from any sanding residues.
11. Shake the spray can for about 2 minutes for good mixing and apply on the rim with smooth, even movements.
12. After about 10-20 minutes of drying, apply the next paint layer. It is recommended to apply 2-3 layers for optimal coverage.
13. Finally, after applying the paint layers and drying, apply the varnish layer in the same way as the paint layers.
14. For high gloss, apply multiple coats of varnish with drying pauses between applications.

Varnish application is optional. In some cases, the painted surface has enough gloss without applying the clear varnish.
