Complete rim repair and painting kit.

Comprehensive kit for repairing, renovating, and painting rims with quality products from AVEX.ro. The kit is DIY type and can be used by anyone who follows the included instructions.

The kit includes:

• 4 x 400 ml Champion paint spray
• 1 x 500 ml Champion clear varnish spray
• 1 x special filler for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sandpapers with different grits for surface correction before and after applying the filler
• 1 x roll of masking tape for protecting the tire edge

Application instructions:

1. Thoroughly clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
2. Smooth the rim's scratches to correct them and create a rough surface for the filler to adhere.
3. Clean again or blow off to remove any metal debris.
4. Apply masking tape around the rim on the tire to protect it from paint fumes.
5. Apply the filler to the rim scratches using a spatula, stick, or fingers (use the provided gloves) to fill scratches or cracks.
6. After about 10 minutes, when the filler hardens, sand the surface with fine grit sandpaper.
7. If the filler does not cover all scratches, repeat the process as necessary until all gaps are filled.
8. After sanding with corrective sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpaper to prepare the surface for painting.
9. If you want to paint the entire rim and not just the damaged areas, prepare the whole rim surface with fine sandpaper.
10. Clean the rim surface from any sanding residues.
11. Shake the paint spray for about 2 minutes to mix well and apply to the rim with smooth, even strokes.
12. After about 10-20 minutes of drying, apply the next paint layer. It is recommended to apply 2-3 layers for optimal coverage.
13. Finally, after applying and drying the paint layers, apply the varnish layer the same way as the paint layers.
14. For a glossy surface, apply multiple layers of varnish with drying breaks between applications.

Applying varnish is optional. In some cases, the paint surface is glossy enough without applying clear varnish.
