Proper measurement of the oil quantity is important to ensure the correct mixing ratio. Gasoline and oil should be mixed in a clean container. Start with half the amount of gasoline, add the oil, and stir well before adding the remaining gasoline.

For engines with catalytic converters, unleaded gasoline mixes are required. Using gasoline with an octane rating lower than 90 may cause engine damage.

Use Stihl 2T oil for optimal performance and efficiency with 2T air-cooled engines.
