New energy efficiency scale consisting of classes A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Devices with class A (green) have the lowest energy consumption, while devices with class G (red) have the highest consumption.

If we want to move from class G to E, we save about €10 annually on electricity consumption. The transition between consecutive classes is almost negligible in annual cost.
It is worth noting that there is no correspondence between the old and the new energy efficiency scale. Based on the new A-G scale, few products currently available on the market belong to classes A and B. The majority of products in the category belong to classes G, F, and E.
