Loctite 243 Threadlocker has medium strength for disassembly, allowing disassembly with manual tools. It is suitable for all metal threaded connections, even on passive substrates (stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces, etc.). It prevents the loosening of parts exposed to vibrations, such as pumps, gearboxes, or presses. The maximum thread size is M36.
If the product is applied in an environment below 5°C, first use an activator (Loctite 7649).
