The build quality is terrible. First of all, they are metal, something that isn’t mentioned in the description, with the necessary little foam pads to isolate the speaker from the desk. This completely changes the sound, and the fact that they no longer rest directly on the desk, but are also aimed directly at head height, really gives the speakers a different feel.
