During the 2025 – 2026 school year, the subject "ECONOMICS" was introduced in the 3rd grade of Gymnasium. This is a course that introduces students to Economic science, presenting basic economic concepts in a simple and understandable way.

The school textbook used is the corresponding one taught in secondary education in Cyprus, having undergone some adaptations so that the content is more compatible with Greek economic data.

This book was written with the purpose of offering teachers and students additional material with a variety of questions and exercises in order to both better understand the content of the school textbook and to assess the extent to which they have mastered the various economic concepts.

It includes the entire content of the school textbook, but there are notes on what is not included in the current curriculum.
