Muscat of Spina is a forgotten Greek variety that has recently seen a revival. Brothers Manolis and Kostis Strataridis have worked to restore it to its deserved position, creating unique vinifications that have established it at the top of white aromatic Greek wines.
The two agronomists cultivate their family vineyards in the estates of the Sinai Monastery of the Holy Apostles, at the foothills of the Asterousia Mountains in the Heraklion region.
The variety originates from the community of Spina in the Selinou province of Chania, and it primarily differs in the thickness of the grape skin.
Uniquely finished and aromatic, Strataridis winery's Muscat of Spina promises to impress with its freshness and absolutely summery character.
