MONTO Efecto Cemento is applied to walls and interior surfaces made of concrete or cement. Breathable with extremely easy application and a matte finish.

Surface preparation:

• New surfaces: For new constructions, wait until the material is fully stabilized (minimum 30 days).
• On polished surfaces: sand to open the pores.
• Clean the surface from foreign materials.
• Prepare removable surfaces with the appropriate primer.
• Apply filler on defective areas of the surface.

That is:

• Remove old paint layers that are in bad condition.
• Prepare glossy surfaces for good adhesion.
• Check paint condition on painted surfaces.
• Fill defective areas with plaster.
• Treat moldy supports with Mold Cleaner.

Application instructions:

• Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or on hot surfaces.
• 1st coat: Without dilution, apply with a roller and create imperfections with a metal spatula. Let dry for 6 hours.
• 2nd coat: Repeat the 1st coat procedure with very little product. Let dry for 6 hours. Do not sand the surface.
• Polishing: Sand with the metal spatula to create the effect of unfinished concrete.
