Special product for decoration and protection of interior walls with a modern technique that provides a cement effect. It is ideal for use in spaces with industrial decoration. Efecto Cemento MONTO is applied on walls and interior surfaces made of concrete or cement. It has a breathable composition, extremely easy application, and a matte finish, which varies depending on the application method.

Surface preparation:

• New surfaces: Wait until the material is fully stabilized (at least 30 days).
• On polished surfaces: Sand to open the pores.
• Clean the surface from foreign materials.
• Prepare removable surfaces with the appropriate primer.
• Apply filler to defective spots on the surface.

Plaster:

• Wait until completely dry (maximum 20% humidity).
• Clean the surface from foreign materials.
• Adjust surface absorption with waterproofing or stabilizing agent.
• On polished surfaces: Sand to open the pores.
• Prepare removable surfaces with the appropriate primer.
• Apply filler to defective spots on the surface.

Restoration and maintenance:

• Remove completely old paint layers that are in poor condition.
• Glossy surfaces must be properly prepared to ensure good adhesion.
• On painted surfaces, check the condition of the paint and diagnose its nature to avoid possible incompatibility. Remove dust and dirt before proceeding with product application.
• Fill defective spots on the surface with putty.
• Treat moldy supports with Mold Cleaner.

Instructions: Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or on hot surfaces.

When the surface is in good condition:

• 1st coat: Apply undiluted evenly with a roller and then create imperfections with random movements using a metal spatula. Let dry for 6 hours.
• Sand the surface with 220-320 grit sandpaper. Clean off the dust.
• 2nd coat: Repeat the process of the 1st coat, but this time use very little product to leave almost no imperfections. Applying different pressures with the spatula enhances the effect. Let dry for 6 hours. Do not sand the surface.
• Polishing: Enhance the effect by rubbing with the metal spatula until the surface becomes smooth, creating the effect of unfinished cement.
