Black Gesso Amsterdam Gesso Primer Talens

Purpose: Creates a preparatory layer on various absorbent surfaces. Drawing, Iconography, and Craft Gesso.

Composition: Acrylic Resin, Synthetic Titanium Dioxide

  • Provides a good adhesion base for oil paints, acrylics, gouache, etc.
  • Suitable for absorbent surfaces cleaned from dust and oils.
  • Suitable for surfaces such as painting canvas, wood, plywood, cardboard, MDF, paper.
  • Suitable for preparing surfaces like concrete, stucco, and bricks.
  • Highly absorbent surfaces should be prepared in combination with Amsterdam Acrylic Binder.
  • Can be tinted with acrylic paint.
  • Thinned with water.
  • Dries within a few hours; after 24 hours, it can be painted over with oil paints.
  • Applied at temperatures above 10°C; should not be exposed to freezing temperatures.
  • Clean tools with water.
