Solar water heater by Solar-Tech has a nominal capacity of 100 liters and is suitable to meet the hot water needs of up to 2 people.
The water heater is the storage tank for the solar hot water. From there, the water is transported to the house through pipes so that we can use it. Its main function is to maintain the hot water at the appropriate temperature. It requires regular maintenance, cleaning from salts, sludge, and other particles that may have accumulated, as well as checking the magnesium anode, which is responsible for preventing electrolysis that can puncture the water heater. This maintenance should be done at least every 2 years.
It cannot operate independently, it either needs to replace your old solar water heater or separate solar collectors need to be purchased to make it fully functional.
It is triple energy and operates by utilizing either solar energy, electricity, or the hot water from the central heating radiator produced by the central heating boiler. Solar energy is collected through the collectors of the solar water heater. It also has an electric resistance, so it can function as a regular electric water heater on days with low sunlight. Alternatively, it has an exchanger (coil) in which the hot heating water produced by the central heating boiler circulates and heats the water in the boiler.
It has an internal coating made of stainless steel. This results in a long lifespan, as it prevents corrosion and the formation of rust, ensuring clean water at all times.
