Organic Kombucha with Ginger and Lime 330ml Biona

Kombucha is a fungus that develops in tea extract. The fungus converts sugar into organic acids and natural carbon dioxide, resulting in a naturally sparkling and healthy drink. It is an ideal source of probiotics and has a taste similar to that of a cider, with a slightly sour flavor. The roots of the kombucha drink date back to around the year 250 in China, where it was called the "elixir of immortality".

Ingredients:

  • tea extracts* (natural mineral water, green tea*, black tea*, German maté*, lime blossoms*, verbena*, corn silk*, lemongrass*, mint*, nettle*, sweet grass*, maple blossoms*, raspberries*, pear*, blackberry*, licorice*)
  • raw sugar from sugarcane*
  • lime juice* 2%
  • ginger juice* 1.5% (ginger*, concentrated lemon juice*)
  • kombucha cultures
  • natural carbon dioxide

* from organic farming.

Alcohol content: <0.5% vol. As a live, fermented drink, the very small amount of alcohol is completely natural and comes from the fermentation process.
