The majority of Manuka honey available in the European market does not come from certified organic beekeeping. It is free from pesticides, antibiotics, and chemicals. The entire process from Manuka cultivation to the feeding and treatment of bees comes from authorized organic sources. This ensures pure Manuka honey, certified organic.
The active agent, methylglyoxal (MGO), contained in this organic Manuka honey has a value of at least 300 mg/kg and is primarily responsible for the unique property of special Manuka honey.
The TranzAlpine apiary was established in 1910 and has been under control and certification according to the international Bioagro standards for organic beekeeping since 1993.
