Kalamata olives, also known as Kalamon, come from southern Greece and are exclusively available on the Peloponnese peninsula. They are considered a delicacy due to their size, flesh, and intense flavor. They have a dark color.

The olives come from a small family business in the Peloponnese, the Stamatakou family. They are hand-picked and processed with a special vacuum machine, stored in suitable glass containers with a little extra virgin olive oil produced by the same grower. The preservation method for Kalamata olives until they are ready for consumption is traditional and passed down from generation to generation in the Stamatakou family. The olives retain all their qualities, making them ideal for any meal. They are marinated in red wine vinegar, offering a unique and delicious taste.
