The Planet XT-915A media converter converts connections between PON and Ethernet and supports single-mode and multimode optical fiber. It has two SFP+ fiber ports with speeds of 10G, 2.5G, 1G and 100BASE-X, and a maximum transmission distance of up to 120 km at each end.

It can be managed via a web interface, CLI, SNMP and Telnet. It supports a MAC address table with 16K entries, Jumbo Frames up to 1.2K, QoS traffic control and per-port bandwidth control, while software-based ring redundancy technology provides fast automatic recovery.
