Greece with Mount Olympus, Venice with the Bridge of Sighs, India with the Taj Mahal, fakirs and their nail beds, Japan with its temples and dragons, the ruins of Machu Picchu, the Northern Lights at the North Pole... So many fabulous places waiting to be discovered by the wonderful neighbors.
Embark with us on the airship for a journey around the world like never seen before! The famous series "My Wonderful Neighbors" arrives in Romania, bringing with it the tender and amusing chronicles of the "neighbors" neighborhood, which, once populated only by white sheep, now fully embraces diversity: wolves, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, snakes, storks, and even an octopus come together to live, break down walls, explore space and time together, and settle all disputes with a big party to which everyone is invited, including young and old readers!
The stories abound in details that will add new nuances and perspectives each time they are read. They are a kind of call for children, to which narration, cultural references (art, cinema, literature, mythology, history, etc.), a thin layer of social satire, and many hidden treasures are added.
About the authors: Gilles Bonotaux is an art teacher, illustrator of children's stories, and a great animal lover. His wife, Hélène Lasserre, the author of the texts, is a history enthusiast, children's literature author, and librarian. Both live in Paris.
