Amsterdam White Gesso Primer

Purpose: Creates a priming layer on various absorbent surfaces. Gesso for painting, icon painting and crafts

Composition: Acrylic resin, titanium dioxide

  • Provides a surface with good adhesion for oil paints, acrylics, gouache, etc.
  • Suitable for absorbent surfaces that have been cleaned of dust and oils
  • Suitable for surfaces such as canvas, wood, plywood, cardboard, MDF and paper
  • Suitable for preparing surfaces such as cement, stucco and brick
  • Highly absorbent surfaces should be prepared using Amsterdam Acrylic Binder as well
  • Can be tinted with acrylic paint
  • Can be diluted with water
  • Dries within a few hours; after 24 hours, it can be painted over with oil paints
  • Apply at temperatures above 10°C; do not allow it to freeze
  • Clean tools with water
