Rapeseed oil comes from selected rapeseed seeds and is extracted by cold pressing using natural methods without the use of solvents.

Rapeseed oil (Brassica rapa) comes from a plant about 80 centimeters tall, with a thin stem branching at the top, green leaves covered with fine hairs, yellow flowers, and seeds rich in oil that develop inside pods 3-5 centimeters long from July to September. Rapeseed belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is mainly cultivated for its seeds in countries such as Bulgaria, Canada, Italy, Romania, while France is the largest producer in the European Union.

Rapeseed seeds contain Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, and vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and E. In phytotherapy, the most commonly used parts are the root and flowers of the rapeseed plant.

Rapeseed oil is extracted by cold pressing the seeds, has a neutral taste, and is used in the food industry as well as for biodiesel production. In the kitchen, it can be used for salads, sautéing vegetables, meat dishes, or frying potatoes.
