Cylindrical-shaped drills according to DIN 338 HSS-E (Co 5%) type N, with special "Gold" surface treatment.

  • Material: HSS-E (Co 5%), ground, heat-treated, and with special "Gold" surface treatment.
  • Right-hand cutting.
  • Tip angle: 135 degrees, helix angle 20-30 degrees.
  • Diameter: tolerance h8, starting from 2 mm with additional grinding on the resting surface and reducing the tip according to DIN 1412 C for easier cutting.
  • Designed for drilling in non-alloyed and low-alloy steels, heat-treated steel, and ideal for drilling in austenitic stainless steel with R950 N/mm. Suitable for drilling in non-ferrous materials (aluminum, copper, and brass alloys) and various materials with a carbide (not for sintered parts from steel powders or carbide metals).
  • The special "Gold" surface treatment facilitates heat dissipation and slide traces, offering higher cutting speeds and increased durability in demanding applications.
  • Recommended for use in drills, fixed and stationary devices, and occasionally in handheld electric or pneumatic drills.
