Product description: Cylindrical drill bits for metal, according to DIN 338, type N, TBX 4F, HSS-E (Co 5%).

Features:

  • Material: HSS-E (Co 5%), grinding, heat treatment, and special surface 'Blade coated'
  • Right-hand cutting
  • Tip angle: 135 degrees, helix angle: 20-30 degrees
  • Diameter tolerance: h8
  • From 2 mm with additional grinding in the support area and reduction of the cutting edge, according to DIN 1412 C, for easier cutting / reduced cutting force and faster drilling
  • Purpose: suitable for drilling in non-alloyed and minimally alloyed steels, heat-treated steels, and ideal for drilling into unstable stainless steel (304L and 316L) with R950 N/mm, drilling into non-ferrous materials (aluminum alloys, copper, and brass), various spheroidal materials (not in spheroidal parts made from steel powders or carbide)
  • The special surface 'Blade coated' facilitates heat dissipation, chip flow, and consequently speeds up cutting and extends lifespan in demanding applications
  • Recommended for use in drills, fixed and stationary devices, and only occasionally in portable electric or pneumatic drills
