Bohrcraft 5.2 mm twist drills are designed for drilling metals and cut in a left-hand direction. They have a 118° point angle and, from a diameter of 2 mm, feature additional grinding on the bearing surface and a reduced chisel edge in accordance with DIN 1412 C for easier cutting and faster drilling.

They are suitable for steel and cast steel, cast iron, non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, copper and brass alloys, plastics, and various sintered materials, except for components made from steel powders or metal carbides. They are intended primarily for drill presses and stationary equipment; use with portable electric or pneumatic drills is recommended only occasionally.
