The Fofo Medical Hf6001 air mattress with pump is an alternating pressure system for preventing and treating pressure sores. The compressor alternately inflates and deflates the cells, changing the pressure points. It adjusts the pressure to the patient’s weight and must run continuously while the patient is on the mattress. Two tubes connect the compressor to the mattress. The compressor can be placed under the bed or hung from the headboard using its brackets.
The mattress has 130 spherical cells and is made of non-toxic PVC. It is washable for easy maintenance and includes a repair kit for punctures.
