personally, I only buy flagships and the latest ones every year. before I go into everything else, I have to say that the device is top-notch both in terms of software and security. honestly, the security features it has, I haven't seen in anything else, and I should mention that I change devices as a hobby almost every month and I only buy flagships.

For me, the device has the ideal size but that's a matter of taste, as a screen it is the best I have seen both in terms of quality and brightness. YES, the device has dynamic island which compared to the iPhone has more features like air gestures, messages, etc. It's important to mention that the device has amazing speakers in terms of volume and quality, which I haven't seen anywhere else, it's almost like a small speaker.

As unique features, it has an amazing battery in the EU version that I have and it easily lasts me 1 day with very heavy use. Then the AI functions it supports both in camera and in photos, calls, etc. are simply unique. Note that the device has an IR blaster by itself and it has been a lifesaver for me.

Now let's go to horsepower and cameras.
Selfie camera worthy of a flagship but easily behind the iPhone's, the video is also very good but not at iPhone level. as for photography, I wonder why this device is not on dxomark. As a professional camera it works especially if you know how to play with pro mode and from what I've handled I can say it only competes with the Huawei p80 ultra which falls short in everything else. the samples I uploaded are with the normal mode as we all shoot and it was indeed what I was seeing. Finally, the device reaches up to 200X zoom natively.

in terms of performance, no explanation needed, the only thing I'll say is that I haven't handled anything faster and again, I had the fastest iPhone ever released.

NEGATIVES

It bothers me that there is no official representation in Greece and I couldn't find it in chains so I had to get it from Honor Germany, there are no branded cases in our country and finally, the back is sensitive if you don't have a good case.

Overall, for me, having handled all the top smartphones of this year, I have to say:

If you want something different and with unique features (because in my opinion Apple and Samsung haven't had anything innovative for years) then this is a phone you really won't think of changing soon, and I say this as someone who used to buy a new one every month. I've had this for 3 months now and I really wouldn't change it for anything.

What can I say, the phone is incredible... I was looking to buy a flagship and checked them all... in the end, instead of spending 1300-1500 to get one device (always 512GB)... I spent 1400+ and got this and the Xiaomi 15T... first time with Honor and I'm amazed by the battery, 2 full days, and especially the telephoto lens which focuses at 15cm and takes amazing shots! LTPO AMOLED panel of high resolution with adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. Very good brightness outdoors and proper color calibration (without “marketing” style oversaturation). PWM dimming also helps for comfortable use at night.

Camera System
The camera setup is one of the strongest points of the device:

- Main sensor with large sensor size → excellent dynamic range and low noise
- Periscope telephoto → true optical zoom with detail retention
- Ultra-wide with good distortion correction

HONOR’s computational photography (AI processing) maintains a very good balance between detail and naturalness (without excessive sharpening).

Low-light performance
Very good noise management and proper exposure. It doesn’t easily “blow out” highlights and keeps information in the shadows.

Performance

I bought the global version because I wanted all its power and not the downgraded versions that Europe tends to bring us... so we're talking about the version with the 7100mAh battery and, in fact, with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage! This year, Honor just outdid itself! It brought everything it should and more! In terms of screen, performance, etc., there is absolutely nothing to complain about! I am a big fan of this particular company since a few years ago it saved us from obscurity... when trouble hit the beloved Huawei and the boredom offered by the other brands at the time, it came with the Magic 5 Pro and brought excitement back... since then, I've had all the models in the series in my hands, as well as fortunately some other brands that were worth it (Oppo, Vivo). Now, about the 8 Pro! I bought the global version because I wanted all its power and not the downgraded versions that Europe tends to bring us... so we're talking about the version with the 7100mAh battery and, in fact, with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage! This year, Honor just outdid itself! It brought everything it should and more! In terms of screen, performance, etc., there is absolutely nothing to complain about! To briefly mention some performance numbers from mine: Antutu 4,036,415! And Geekbench single 3706, multicore 11161, and GPU 24200! I won't say much about the camera! Simply, miracles happened, especially in the zoom where work was needed! It has the HP9 200MP sensor and if you use its AI, it changes the game! As for build quality, it is epically premium and gives you a sense of security! Let's talk about what you don't find in the competition and makes it a one-way choice this year! It is certified for drop resistance! Combined with IP69K, we're talking about one of the most bulletproof phones out there! Its signal is truly amazing with a chip dedicated exactly for that purpose! It has the epic Face ID like the previous Magic models, and once you get used to it, you miss it on other phones! And of course, the main star is its speakers... words can't describe, you have to experience it! Besides being incredibly powerful, high-quality, and clear in sound, it has a unique vibration on its screen that is indescribable! It makes any YouTube, TikTok, etc. viewing simply an experience... The camera with its autonomy, the uniquely bright and good screen, as well as the Snapdragon—let's be honest, it's a package that is still missing from the market... I was between this, the Vivo X300 Pro, and the Oppo Find X9 Pro (former owner of the Magic 7 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Pro, and still owner of the Vivo X200 Pro). The decision was easy since it was the only one I could find globally with 1TB memory, which I really wanted! But also because of the overall package! It had a bit more than the other two and it came with the Snapdragon! This year it shined! It did exactly what it should, the way it should! Anyone thinking of buying a flagship, I believe this is clearly the way to go! You won't regret it!

personally, I only buy flagships and the latest ones every year. before I go into everything else, I have to say that the device is top-notch both in terms of software and security. honestly, the security features it has, I haven't seen in anything else, and I should mention that I change devices as a hobby almost every month and I only buy flagships.

For me, the device has the ideal size but that's a matter of taste, as a screen it is the best I have seen both in terms of quality and brightness. YES, the device has dynamic island which compared to the iPhone has more features like air gestures, messages, etc. It's important to mention that the device has amazing speakers in terms of volume and quality, which I haven't seen anywhere else, it's almost like a small speaker.

As unique features, it has an amazing battery in the EU version that I have and it easily lasts me 1 day with very heavy use. Then the AI functions it supports both in camera and in photos, calls, etc. are simply unique. Note that the device has an IR blaster by itself and it has been a lifesaver for me.

Now let's go to horsepower and cameras.
Selfie camera worthy of a flagship but easily behind the iPhone's, the video is also very good but not at iPhone level. as for photography, I wonder why this device is not on dxomark. As a professional camera it works especially if you know how to play with pro mode and from what I've handled I can say it only competes with the Huawei p80 ultra which falls short in everything else. the samples I uploaded are with the normal mode as we all shoot and it was indeed what I was seeing. Finally, the device reaches up to 200X zoom natively.

in terms of performance, no explanation needed, the only thing I'll say is that I haven't handled anything faster and again, I had the fastest iPhone ever released.

NEGATIVES

It bothers me that there is no official representation in Greece and I couldn't find it in chains so I had to get it from Honor Germany, there are no branded cases in our country and finally, the back is sensitive if you don't have a good case.

Overall, for me, having handled all the top smartphones of this year, I have to say:

If you want something different and with unique features (because in my opinion Apple and Samsung haven't had anything innovative for years) then this is a phone you really won't think of changing soon, and I say this as someone who used to buy a new one every month. I've had this for 3 months now and I really wouldn't change it for anything.
