The Y35 magnet motor has been optimized through magnetic FEM and FEA simulation to ensure perfectly symmetrical magnetic flux in both directions of the cone’s movement. This allows for outstanding control and accurate response, even at large excursions.

All metal parts of the motor are CNC-machined from solid material, carefully processed for maximum linearity of the magnetic field and reduction of magnetic losses. The result is minimal distortion, even at high power levels. The aluminum alloy frame offers excellent rigidity and low aerodynamic resistance without sacrificing sound quality.

Strict casting procedures ensure compliance with the most demanding manufacturing specifications and contribute to the quality of the final product. The CNC-machined pole plate, with ultra-fine tolerances, has a perfectly flat surface, allowing for optimal placement over the magnet and preventing any loss of magnetic flux, which is essential for performance.

The vented voice coil is large in diameter and made from copper-coated aluminum. It supports very high power, ensuring reproduction with exceptional realism and high dynamics. The wire used is copper-coated aluminum, extremely lightweight with excellent heat dissipation capability. The cone is made from long-fiber, undyed paper, specially treated on its outer side to provide the ideal balance between low weight, rigidity, and internal damping, which are essential for a natural and controlled sound.

The peripheral suspension is made from soft nitrile rubber, resistant to UV radiation and unaffected by temperature variations. Thus, the acoustic performance remains stable over time. The special design of the edges ensures free and precise back-and-forth movement. The protective grille adds a luxurious touch to the construction, made from premium stainless steel – durable, resilient, and elegant.
