Description & Specifications

Rhipsalis - Basic Care Instructions:

  • Light: Prefers bright spots with indirect or filtered sunlight. Direct midday sun can burn its shoots.
  • Watering: Moderate watering is required. Allow the soil to dry out between watering. In winter (November-March), significantly reduce watering, keeping the substrate almost dry.
  • Humidity & Temperature: Thrives in normal temperatures. Loves humidity, so occasional misting of the leaves is beneficial.
  • Soil & Repotting: Use a light substrate for cacti and succulents that ensures excellent drainage. Repot every 2-3 years into a slightly larger pot.
  • Fertilization: Apply a weak liquid fertilizer for green plants or cacti every 1-2 months during the growing period (April to September).
  • Toxicity: Not considered toxic to pets or children.
