The Lechuza Pon watering indicator measures moisture in the growing medium and changes color to show whether the plant needs watering. It can be used in soil, inorganic materials, and planting mixes, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor plants. It can remain in the growing medium permanently and works without batteries or any other power source.

Insert it approximately 7–8 cm deep, with the bottom end fully covered by the growing medium and the top left visible. After the initial insertion, the indicator changes color within 20–30 minutes: blue indicates sufficient moisture, while white indicates that the plant needs water. Leave the measuring rod in the growing medium; do not remove or rotate it to check the reading. Replacement is recommended after approximately 9 months of use.
