The Kirschen 1074020 chisel has a pointed, skewed blade that is 20 mm wide, making it easier to work in corners, such as inside drawers and cabinets, and in hard-to-reach areas. The skewed design provides more clearance beneath the handle, while the blade is suitable for working on flat surfaces, assembly, restoration and detailed finishing.

The polished carbon tool steel blade has no grooves and features bevelled sides. Two thirds of its working surface is hardened to 61 HRC, with a factory sharpening angle of 25°, making it suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. The copper beech handle is reinforced with a striking ring and a metal ferrule.
