Installation instructions:

  • The device should not be screwed or unscrewed from the plastic part.
  • The device should not be placed horizontally or facing downward.
  • Do not fill the radiator body up to the top edge with water as swelling will occur once the temperature rises.
  • Water with antifreeze or the correct type of oil can be used as a heat transfer medium.
  • The radiator body should be heated only by the heating element.

Warning: Do not install the heating element parallel to the heating system.

Electric heating element:

  • The device should not be connected to power during installation.
  • Place the heating element in the lower inlet of the radiator body.
  • Tighten the electric heating element to the radiator body by turning its base with a size 22 wrench.
  • Make sure the connection between the heating element and the radiator body is tightly secured.

Uninstallation:

  • If the radiator body is already installed in the central heating system, close the valves and remove any fluid inside it before installing the electric heating element; the radiator body may need to be flushed to clean out existing sludge and metallic deposits.
