The RL15017 hidden camera records video in 1080p resolution with H.265 encoding, which reduces the required storage space. It streams real-time video at up to 25 frames per second with a bandwidth of 500 Kbps, while the frame rate adjusts to the network and supports up to 25–30 frames per second.

It supports remote access via P2P, multi-user preview and AP connection, as well as cloud storage. It is compatible with the ONVIF 2.4 standard and NVR systems such as Hikvision and Dahua. Echo cancellation and noise suppression improve audio quality. In alarm night mode, the image is initially black and white, and the lighting turns on automatically when a person is detected, switching to color night vision.
