The Stanley Stht47611-0 chalk line is used to mark straight lines on floors, masonry, concrete and wood. The precision braided line is 30 m long, and the 6:1 gear ratio speeds up rewinding. The case and cassette housing are made of aluminium.

The anti-clump and anti-jam design helps prevent chalk build-up and jamming. The fill port opens with a 1/4-turn, and an access point allows the line to be replaced. The XL hook has a double projection, while the hook and crank store in the body. The chalk line can also be used as a plumb bob.
