The Muellerguard Mouthguard is a dental protective device designed by a dentist, which helps reduce the risk of dental injury during intense sports. Its thin front wall construction ensures that speech or breathing is not affected, while the thick viscous rear area contributes to shock absorption.

• Fill a pot with some water and bring it to a boil.
• Remove the water from the heat and immediately place the mouthguard in the water for 90 seconds.
• Carefully remove the mouthguard with a slotted spoon.
• Cool it under running tap water for 1-2 seconds.
• Lick your lips before placing it in your mouth.
• Align the mouthguard with the center line of your upper teeth.
• Place it over and around the upper teeth (tongue side up) and press first on the molars and then on the front teeth.
• Bring the lower jaw forward and upward against the base of the mouthguard with the teeth aligned.
• Close your mouth while biting firmly on the mouthguard.
• Suck firmly and press the edges of the mouthguard against the teeth and the roof of the mouth for 20 seconds.
• Remove the mouthguard and cool for 30 seconds.
• Test the fit and repeat if necessary.
