The Magus Bio V300 biological microscope has an inverted configuration and is designed for examining cell colonies, tissue cultures and biological fluids in laboratory vessels up to 70 mm high with a base thickness of up to 1.2 mm. Observation is carried out using transmitted light in brightfield or phase contrast, without requiring prior staining of the samples. The trinocular head has a tube for mounting a digital camera, which is not included.

The four objectives are achromatic and have a long working distance. They include three for brightfield and one for phase contrast observation. The 9 W LED illumination has adjustable brightness without changing the color temperature. The fixed mechanical stage allows vessels to be moved along the X and Y axes, while the coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism features tension adjustment and a lock.
