Become a Fearsome Pirate on the Seas

Sow terror among your enemies as you board and sink enemy ships as Edward Kenway, the ruthless captain of the Jackdaw. Whether you choose to blend into the crowd to go unnoticed or lead daring assaults, you can switch with complete ease between silent takedowns and hand-to-hand combat. Masterfully wield swords, pistols, and the iconic Hidden Blade, with legendary historical pirates by your side, to stand up against mighty empires.

A Classic Masterpiece Reborn from the Ground Up

The combat system has been completely rebuilt to deliver more dynamic encounters, emphasizing parries and takedowns, while the stealth and parkour mechanics have been improved for smoother escapes and assassinations. At the same time, you can continuously upgrade the Jackdaw to take on legendary enemy ships, thanks to the enhanced naval mechanics that include new firing features. Numerous quality-of-life additions fix previous issues, ensuring an unparalleled gameplay flow.

The Caribbean More Immersive Than Ever

Whether you're cutting through the waves on the open oceans or traveling across uncharted lands, you'll discover a seamless open world with no loading delays, thanks to the cutting-edge Anvil graphics engine. Admire vast landscapes as you battle stormy seas, dive into underwater shipwrecks, or carve your way through dense tropical jungles. The experience is elevated with Dolby Atmos support and Ray Tracing technology, bringing every scene to life with stunning lighting and top-tier acoustic fidelity.

    PS5
Well, the positives compared to the old one we first played
Number one, okay, the graphics are flawless, we knew that, more gameplay time, very positive, those of us who have played it know more or less what we will see, for those who haven't played it I won't say anything, you will just go crazy if you are fans of piracy from that era.
The combat, the fighting, has changed, it's not like the old one
It didn't blow me away, nor can I say it bothered me; once you get used to it, the ship battles are fine, excellent.
The parkour is fast, but there are options so if you want it can become slower, more realistic, but it has small bugs in the slow mode, I think, I may be wrong, when I turned it off it was okay.
The world is a bit simplistic, meaning they didn't add something to make me feel even more that I am inside the game, I mean ideas, faces, etc. The old-timers will feel it. The game sound is simplistic, not amazing, but not bad either. On the screen I turned off everything through the options so I wouldn't see anything on the screen, only the player (I turned off health bars, weapon target, etc.), I only left the map and when I marked them it made it even more realistic and a little harder, I did it because they were tiring me and I felt like a beginner and it ruined the aesthetics, I recommend it to hardcore gamers though.
It really kept the old elements, I wish they would balance it in the next ones.
It's a nice game, while I was playing I felt a bit of Avery Uncharted story and all the feelings I had when I first played it came back to me, it's one of the best pirate / assassin games.
My rating is 9/10 and I leave it at 9 because I am a lover of the historical golden piracy of 1715 and because I liked this return and era, normally it is 8/10 overall.
    Enjoy

I really love the original Black Flag, and here I can say I feel the same way, with a "but". The graphics are obviously better, there are some additions to cosmetics and some differences in the missions, as there are many quality of life improvements that make the gameplay a little more....2026. BUT for me the good things end there, the sound is poor for me, at least to my ears there is no improvement at all, the world sounds a little empty. Also, although the graphics have improved, it still has many visual bugs and in places it looks "cheap". The gameplay is not the same, it has become faster and some will like it and some won't, I personally wasn't blown away by the combat for example, which is not as smooth as in the original. Overall I recommend it and I love this game but don't expect a remake like Crash Bandicoot, it's more like The Last of Us Part II Remastered, if you catch my drift
