Description & Specifications

The product is part of the set (VMD137-138-139) designed for effective quality control, allowing precise identification and detection of defects in welds or cast metal surfaces without causing damage. The set consists of three products that must be used together for the detection of holes, material defects, cracks, and porosity in welds.

Instructions for use:

  1. Clean and degrease the entire surface with VMD 137.
  2. Apply a thin layer of VMD 138 to the surface and allow it to act for 15-20 minutes to penetrate.
  3. Remove the excess VMD 138 using VMD 137 again and allow the surface to dry.
  4. Spray VMD 139 and let it act for a few minutes as a developer. Red marks will appear at spots with metal defects, allowing the operator to address them.
