Cekol Q2 Multi Gel Tile Adhesive 5 kg
The Cekol Fibergel tile adhesive allows for the bonding of stoneware, ceramics, terracotta, and mosaics onto brick, concrete, aerated concrete, cement, cement-lime plasters, and plasterboards.
The adhesive is frost-resistant, waterproof, and very flexible. It is suitable for both exterior and interior use, as well as for heated floors.
Thanks to its carefully selected formula, it can be used to fix tiles from the top of the wall. The mortar can also be used for leveling and filling.
Advantages and product features:
- Flexible, frost-resistant and waterproof adhesive for interior and exterior use.
- Characterized by increased adhesion.
- Highly resistant to sagging, allowing tile installation from the top down.
- Universal – for bonding stoneware, ceramics, terracotta and mosaics onto brick, concrete, aerated concrete, cement, cement-lime plasters and plasterboards.
- Fiber-reinforced.
Substrate preparation:
The substrate should be clean, solid, and free from greases. Remove any residues of milky or oily paint, as well as loose sand, using a spatula or a hard brush. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with a primer.
Application:
Mortar preparation: Pour 0.22 – 0.24 l water per 1 kg powder (4.4 – 4.8 l per 20 kg pack), then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer until homogeneous. Wait about 3 minutes and mix again. Mortar open time: approximately 3 hours.
Adhesive application: Apply the adhesive to the prepared substrate using a notched trowel. For heated surfaces, switch off heating before laying tiles. Heating can be switched on at least 7 days after tile installation. For outdoor use and to enhance adhesion of highly absorbent, stoneware, and large tiles, apply CEKOL Q-2 MULTI in a continuous layer to both the substrate and the back of the tiles.
Storage:
Store in dry spaces, in the original packaging.
