The Santa Rosa plum tree is a self-fertile variety that ripens in early July. It produces large, round fruit with dark red skin and prominent speckles. Its yellow flesh is moderately firm, juicy and aromatic, with an excellent flavour. The tree has an upright growth habit and produces reliably in the southern regions of the country.
